The Whitby Eagles, in partnership with Softball Ontario, will be hosting a 'Competition-Introduction, Softball' coaches clinic. This clinic replaces the Level 1 and Level 2 Technical/Practical clinics and Level 1 and Level 2 Theory Clinics. An on field evaluation is required for certification.
 
The clinic will be held at the Iroquois Park Sports Complex, in the Fireside Banquet room, for in class portions and Iroquois Park softball diamond #4 for outdoor portions. The dates for weekend number 1 are May 24/25 and weekend number 2 will be held on May 31/June 1st. The date for the evaluation session is August 23rd and will be held at Iroquois Park softball diamond #4. 
 
The cost for weekend 1 will be $230, weekend 2 will be $125 and weekend 3 will be $90. This price includes, for weekend 1 and 2, lunch and refreshments during the day. If any out of town people require hotel accommodations we can assist them by offering very good rates at the Durham College Residence Centre.
 
The minimum number of participants to run the clinic, weekends 1 and 2, is 12 with a maximum of 20. The third weekend in August (Evaluation Weekend) will have a higher maximum of participants allowed.
