1. P.W.S.A rules will apply. In addition, there will be unlimited substitution
and everyone must bat.
2. Teams must register prior to the start of their first game with the
convener at the tournament headquarters.
3. Roster and proof of age must be available if requested.
4. Complete team list with birth date is to be provided at time of registration.
No additional players after the first game.
5. Teams must be ready to play 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the game.
6. Home team to be decided by a coin toss prior to the start of the game
by the home plate umpire. Home team responsible to keep the official score.
The score sheet to be turned into chairperson at the end of each game.
Home plate umpire time is the official time.
7. No infield practice. The infield will be the skinned area between the
foul lines.
8. Round robin games to be a maximum of 7 innings with no new inning starting
after 90 minutes ( Mites 1hour 20 minutes). If tied after regulation play,
international tie breaker to take effect immediately. Except for Mite,
all medal games to be 7 innings no time limit, mercy rule in effect. Mite
medal games no new inning to start after 1 hour and 20 minutes or 7 innings.
9. Mercy rule of 25 runs after 1 inning, 15 runs after 3 innings, 10 runs
after 5 innings at which time scoring stops but game may continue at discretion of losing team until 90 minutes or 7 innings.
10. NO PROTESTS. Umpires decisions will be final.
11. In the event of a tie after round robin play,
ties will be broken by: a) Head to head play b) Fewest runs allowed in all
games c) Best runs for d) Coin toss until a winner is declared. For Midgets, tie after pool play (4 games)
will be broken by: a) Standing in the first round (2 games) b) Head to head
play c) Fewest runs allowed d) Best runs for e) Coin toss.
12. The tournament Committee reserves the right to amend the tournament
format should unforeseen circumstances prevail.
